Behind the zebra is the Zambezi River and the splash in the background on the left is from the Victoria Falls.

The sun coming through the tree is the real sun and not a photoshop filter sun. It was a bit brighter, so I did tone it down slightly.

A Crab Apple in bud. Also known as Malus ioensis ‘Plena’. I think this is my fav out of all the spring blooms.

Ivy Matilda was Granny’s real name. In her day she was a very attractive lady with a great sense of style and class. I met her when she was 89. She couldn’t hear too good and her glasses were thick, but she was totally self sufficient. / Living close to Southland shopping centre, she would walk there regularly for grocery items and what ever else she needed. She continued on like this until 2 weeks before her 93rd birthday. / Granny caught a bad cold that then turned to pneumonia. She was unable to beat it and passed away as a result. That was eleven years ago. / Granny was my best friends Grandmother and these are the leather gloves that were Granny’s when she was younger. / My girlfriend also has a couple of her dresses and I’m planning something special for those too. P.S. For Jack….thinking of you often xxx :)))
