Alright, I gotz a question. What do I do, or how do I go about officially copyrighting Tako-chan as a character of my creation? Do uploading it on these cites make it impossible to steal by law, or do I have to like Patened it or something (BTW I live in the Us). This question comes about and my friend brought up a good point. “Like, all the things you do are copyrighted but that doesn’t stop someone from making a tako chan in a design you haven’t yet.” So, how do I go about doing that? I was walking the streets in Asakusa, teaching one of my photography students, when we saw two cats, one sleeping under the vending machine and another wandering on the pavement. My student said ‘Oh, wow, there’s another’ and sure enough, this fella was just sat in the doorway. Looking a bit like a Vermeer painting.

This was for a contest that my friend made on www.deviantart.com. I just wanted to share it on here. This is my most recent picture at the moment. My friend’s character’s name is Di, and she is part of a fan-fiction that is off the story of Naruto. The poem is difficult to read, you can read it here: Every tree hears the melody, / of a whisper coming by every night. / A whisper calling out, / from the other side of the Earth. The blossoms of the trees, / have sudden started to fall, / and have rested on the pearl grass. / Sudden, they turn into black roses. Time has traveled cruelly in her heart, / she sits on the stone by the forest. / Picking at the flower whom sheds, / and tells her there is no time left. If only she could find the stem, / of two flowers birthed upon, / and breathing life and is well. / Her dream will come true. Her life would be in two paradises, / and within a paradox. / She whispers again that night, / hoping the air will send her message. Autumn will come by soon, / the trees will wither from her presence, / and die in front of her path, / yet introducing the ice that takes her heart. She wishes she was one of the two leaves, / dancing in the wind that carried them, / and placing her on a cloud, / of a pure state of remedy.
