Thought it would be good to take our bottle of vintage champagne somewhere special to drink it – while we listen to some music on the gramaphone! Created from a collage of different images put together in Photoshop – too cold yet to go al fresco for real !!! The car is our 1931 Sunbeam 20 – “Willamina”

Please let me introduce you to the Champagne Fizz-Fizz Bird,this is a rare and special bird.It lives in a very remote vineyard,in a teeny weeny village just outside Champagne in France.It lives on a grape and cork vine,only known in that region.It is rarely seen(except after one or two glasses of vintage champagne)It is quite magical and it is said,if it dips its beak in the wine vats,the bubbles come out rainbow coloured….......:):):) / © Copyright 2008 Jo Hoden, All Rights Reserved.

Champagne Falls is the first of two lovely waterfalls near the Lemonthyme Lodge Wilderness Retreat, Tasmania, near the Cradle Valley section of Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park. The falls tumbles some 15m in a cool and shady area of Bulls Creek. Combining this waterfall with Bridal Veil Falls makes for an excellent half day walk in the bush.

Well, no sooner do I get setteled in the new place, now I am leaving in about an hour for a road trip to the east coast. My best friends sister is having a big party in New Jersey and a bunch of us are driving out for a long weekend. Its only a 12 hour drive…........each way….........LOL…........but…......plenty of photo opps, Im sure. We’ll be stopping at Niagra Falls in Canada on the way back. Should be there Sunday/Monday. Its been 20 years since Ive been there. I wasnt into photography back then. So this should be a great time with my camera! I’ll attempt some night shots during the light show. I hope they come out ok. I’ll be back next week. In the meantime, enjoy your weekend. I’ll have a drink or 2 for you all. Bye for now.

Champagne Beach, Vanuatu. A tiny little beach – glowing white sand, crystal blue water – what more could you ask for? We had the beach to ourselves for the afternoon, swimming, running around and just enjoying the peace and quiet. The place is just a ready-made postcard photo.
