This image was taken about 10 days after severe thunderstorms in Paris at the end of 1999. There had been debris scattered all over the Champs de Mars, but once they’d cleaned everthing up, it looked almost too tidy. It was taken at approximately midday, and eerily, there was no one around.
This photo of Champ was taken 7/14/08. He is American Border Collie Association (ABCA) registered and he is 5 1/2 months old. Again, here he is waiting as patiently as a border collie can for me to kick the ball. This is his portrait entry for the Our K-9 Friend contest that’s starts 7/16/08.
This is Champ, he is 6 months old now. He is one crazy dog. He loves to play with my son’s dog. He runs through the house and leaps onto the couch and then flies off the back of it onto the floor below. The other day he did it twice in a row and then ran up the recliner my husband was reclining in and jumped off the back of it. My hubby was laughing so hard, he couldn’t believe he did that. I missed it, I was on the computer in another room. It’s not the first time Champ has done that, and it won’t be the last. I hope to get it on video, he is such a nut :) Champ is a border collie with lots of energy, that should explain his crazy nut dog behavior. He’s a sweet nut!
Champ, blue roan cocker spaniel, was my faithful companion growing up. As a child, I used to dress him up in my doll’s clothes and photograph him, and he was sooooo patient! Champ likes pumpkin, he just about cleaned this one out, LOL! He had been outside and I let him in and noticed he had something orangy all around his neck mostly, couldn’t figure out what it was. After seeing the pumpkin all eaten out, it was then that we knew what he had done, silly boy! Best viewed larger

Feature All Pets Great and Small – 4/16/2009 This field of bluebonnets and Texas Indian Paintbrushes is growing in our neighborhood. We took Champ there yesterday (4/10/09) to take his first pictures in the bluebonnets. I tried to get a shot of him with the bunny ears on, but it didn’t come out very good. The sun was shining on one side of him and he kept taking the ears off, so I gave up. I made this collage of him, so many of them came out very well considering how bright the sun was shining on him. It was late, around 7:00pm, the sun was going down. We had the most beautiful sunset afterwards. Champ is now 14 months old, he is a border collie and a very smart, sweet boy if I might add!
