So, I got out last…well it was this morning really, at 4AM and I stepped outside of my comfort zone photographically. I do not shoot colorful landscapes of nature, nor do I really like photos of said subject, but I decided I needed to try something I was unfamiliar with. My next exploration will be into portraiture. I decided I did not want to focus on just one thing, but to bring my style and idea of photography to other subjects. SO! My challenge to all of you is to do the same. Think about, and explore your work, then try to reach into an area you hadn’t even really thought about. Try to bring your ides and style, your vision as it were, to that subject matter. I’m really excited about doing this myself. At times it seems intimidating, but it’s great to explore other regions of your passion. So, try some conceptual work with a new subject! I’m adding this, so you can see 3 experiments I have done outside of my interests and range of photography.

I would like to extend my DEEPEST thanks to any and all involved in the Group “Prize Challenges” for voting my “November Moon” the best to snuggle up next to the awesome poem “When The Moon And I Collide” by Melissa Park. / I am VERY honoured and proud my Moon made the grade. / I am speechless as this was something I NEVER expected, as a matter of a fact, my niece Kasey had to tell me about it, (thanks KC). / Melissa is an awesome writer, and to be parred up with her is, by far, the most amazing thing to happen to my photographic journey, thus far. Please visit “Prize Challenges” for her wonderful poem. / Thank you all again..and again…and again :)))) /

Although I have the drawing ability of a two year old who’s lost his crayons, I participated in this year’s Comikaze 24hr Comic Book Challenge. Click on the photo to read the whole thing. The main reason for entering was to keep Paul company for the duration of a very miserable 24 hours, so show your love and see his comic here

based off an image by kathleen / “Queen of the Dead” In the darkest region of my soul there is someone watching over me. It guide me through my destiny as though its not mine to decide but theirs. Building my image into what it wants; what it needs. I try to fight this thing; this person but it still there burred in my unconscious soul. All ways starring at me. What dose it want? How do I free myself from it. I go about my business and I see him. He is in front of me. His hands rip at my body I can’t scream. He abuses me in unthinkable ways. Then a sharp pain, I grab my stomach, with sticky blood in my hands I realized. The man in the back of my soul is the one who killed me.
