The final image in my Mists of Avalon series...I have taken some artistic licence and imagination to create the final resting place for the Holy Grail. If you look closely you will see that the dragon is guarding the long sought after chalice known as the Holy Grail – a Knight’s ultimate quest. Dragons are known for hoarding their treasure and what better treasure to guard than the dragon’s nemesis – the Knight!! This is the three I made for my mother before she passed away with the help of my college friends who made it possible to get through it all with their support. An interpretation could go … life’s blood spills from the grail onto the chess board of life. The triangular chess board when integrated with the golden triangle forms the hexagram … As above, so below … I leave the rest to you ;-)

you have all seen this painting I have done before, but I wanted to try something out with it, and I kind of like it. :) This painting was painted with acrylic on board. It is actually only half this painting but I have doubled it and put it together.

The third painting in the series. All of which I painted for my late mother. Therefore will never be for sale. This one is yet another dream, I dreamt of a chalice floating “in” a brick wall and God spoke to me and while he was speaking to me gold coins (talents) flowed out of the chalice also with pulsating colours surrounding it. I know whatever God said to me in the dream that I had said I could not do what he wanted yet because of my daughter. Was an intense physical dream with a cold forehead and hot face.
