have always wanted to capture a big plane landing but could never be there at the right time or having the wind blowing in the right direction. The low clouds helps bring the plane closer than usual….i could almost touch it….hahhah. To see a hugh metal flying over you at approx. 200kph is…...priceless. The jetfuel, the noise…...Perfect. Sales of this Design? – 1 sale so far :) My mate AffectMachine made a card/print in response to Seashore Sally entitled – She Being – Response to Sea Shore Sally Seashore Sally by Karin Taylor is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper (ink pastel acrylic charcoal) I drew/painted this a long time ago, it was the first time i applied a real face to a painting, ie real eyes instead of dots etc. and I wasn’t very happy or confident about doing it at the time, as I had done only dots for eyes, and the lady who purchased it asked me if i could apply a face for her…after i did it, she said it reminded her very much of her sister in law, luckily…she liked her sister in law! lol

.....allow me to share with you my newest drawing I finished last night. / It’s one of a series of watercolour pencil pieces ( 42cm/60cm) which deal the beauty of the female form …..the theme of this series is all about human bodies and chairs . / Everything around us is made by colours, shapes and emotions. I just “steal ” the moments and “stop” them into a picture. I used bold colours and powerful lines, as I do in all my drawings and paintings. This ‘lady in red’ has seen better days – was put out on the sidewalk for Council Cleanup – so guess who hefted her back home to keep as a prop for photography!!!!
