Enjoy!
I stumbled upon these two chairs sitting in a field. I could not contain myself. These chairs have so much character. Please feel free to visit my website at: eiiphotography.com to view more of my work.
Chair
These were chairs I found outside an old arcade on Gulf Breeze, Pensacola Beach. They looked like they had seen better days but must serve a purpose when there are alot of tourist in the summer.

This photograph was taken while I was traveling in Croatia on the Dalmatian Coast. It felt almost as if someone had set this shot up for me. The Croatian light has such a warmth and gentleness to it- as if the things it captures are frozen in time or from another time. That feeling was aided by the orange & white-striped clothing hanging on the wall on the left which was somehow reminiscent of a 1920’s bathing costume to me. The chair- or what used to be a chair- pared down to its most basic structure but reclaimed for original purpose by the addition of a plank of wood- sat in the center of the frame as if awaiting its occupant to return (perhaps the owner of the orange and white striped clothing!); The ancient city coastal walls contrasted interstingly with the addition of the more modern but still faded graffitti and the shadows lend a sense of intrigue to me about what this little scene faces.
Just an old chair I spotted at a wedding in Italy
Herewith another of my experimentations to alter the “perceived reality” of a picture. A Sigma 10-20mm lens brings a different perspective and I’ve tried to minimalise distortion in this hand held shot. Any critiques on techniques would be welcome, especially since only PS Elements 3 has been used here.
This is part of the decor of a cafe with sweet rustic charm at Chiang Mai, Thailand. I just love the different pieces of objects that they use to add such nostalgic feel to the whole place. did some colour editing here to give it an older dusty look.
A fantastic sign at the Victoria Baths in Manchester with a patiently waiting chair.

Kapiti Island is a nature reserve lying off the West Coast of the North Island, New Zealand. All the introduced species which cause havoc with the local flora and fauna have been eradicated, and the island is reverting step by step to virgin forest. At the North end of the Island I came across ths old chair lying on the verandah of an old shed. My eye was drawn to the broken down appearance of both the shed and the chair.
This is the stray I found. He just loves posing for the camera.
in an old abandoned house i ran across in West Virginia. This room is exacly as i found it. The old chair was right there infront of the window with an old King James Bible laying on it.
This picture was taken in somebody’s yard zoomed with my canon powershot S15 !
