This is my character, Faith Wilder from a WIP called ‘Project Foxfire’ , in more of a fantasy setting than she normally appears in.
-
One of my particular favorites (you’re always your own worst critic, right?). Purely digital.
-
Three fun things to combine: toybricks, 3D and a bit of crazyness. / I have permission from Lego to show this artwork.

Insane frustration gets to us from time to time
-
This 3D-illustration is made with Lightwave-3D, my favorite 3Dapp. The combination of this fun toy and the feeling of sliding out in a boat an early morning makes a great idea for a picture. / I have permission from Lego to show this artwork.

i donno i kinda like this style on shirts if you agree scream and shout

Screaming down from the heavens – this bolt landing about 500m beyond the Bass River… Quite an active storm for a short duration as it peaked…photographically hopeless though – due to anvil precipitation and outflow winds…leaving me with only 1 chance of a photograph this particular evening…so here it is :) / On closer inspection you can see that a couple of the ‘leaders’ are a lot sharper as they are more than likely leaping a bit forward out of the raincurtain, therefor giving them a less diffused appearance. / / / EOS A2, Fuji Velvia 50. / ©T.Middleton2008 —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / / / see more of my weather related photography by clicking below / /

This is another shot from my last Lightning outing!!
-
Quiet, calm night then boom! Out of the top of the thunderstorm streams a big positive strike – shooting first upwards the pull of the earth wins and it slams down with incredible power. The most dangerous of lightning.

mental ray render, caustics, global illumination, final gatherer, hdri lighting - model build time 2 hours / - back ground texture made in illustrator, coloured in photoshop, 1 hour / - shaders, both object and background, 1 hour / - lighting, 1 hour / - test renders, 6 hours / - final full res render 300dpi3840×2560, 8 hours needs more photons, refraction and caustics is still a bit grainy.

A big, bright-red, 3D heart. Also available as a shirt.

Most of a glass lady. Never try to model a pelvis. You WILL go insane. / This piece was really about doing something with surfaced splines which if you’ve ever tried you’ll know is extremely difficult. I enjoyed it as a problem to be overcome but the result doesn’t reflect the work that went in. / I didn’t want to make the boobs that big originally. I had kinda sensible ones to start but I had to make them that size or they wouldn’t look right. / I needed a bit of help from an anatomy image to position the arms, other than that its completely from memory. / In the early stages I kept getting mildly turned on, which was quite confusing. I’d drop out of the mesh to render and this thought would flit through my mind “oooh, lookit her.” Image copyright © 2008 Simon Deevy.
