  • This 3D-illustration is made with Lightwave-3D, my favorite 3Dapp. The combination of this fun toy and the feeling of sliding out in a boat an early morning makes a great idea for a picture. / I have permission from Lego to show this artwork.

  • Three fun things to combine: toybricks, 3D and a bit of crazyness. / I have permission from Lego to show this artwork.

  • A fifties lead sled. / Goes where anywhere you need something blue and airy. Very high res. Image copyright © 2008 Simon Deevy. Copying and displaying or redistribution of this image without permission from the artist is strictly prohibited.

  • A line of storms finally got organised on the Downs and gave some nice lightning strikes

  • This was shot at Lake Arcadia Oklahoma….From “My therapy Spot”! This was by far my easiest lightning shoot to date! I nailed in a time span of about 10 minutes…20 GOOD lightning shots! More to come….

  • One of my past pets when I moved and left him in the care of a irrisponsible person. Nuff said, he was gone. So I have memories of this bird, he was smart enough never to leave and flew around the house and made noise! He was cool!! So sad not to see him anymore, oh well…. it sucks. P.S. Used PainterX and Photoshop for this.

  • Beautiful landscaping with fence, flowering trees and flowers in Wenham, MA. (Don’t fence me in) Nikon D200 used with 55×200 lens /

  • I wasn’t sure either to post this one up or not but oh well, I felt more was needed but this will do. Oh yeah total time 3 hours, following programs zbrush, photoshop, poser and terragen. Nuff said.

  • Here’s another cool design I did 2 years ago was hoping to showcase this to a publisher but decided to keep it locked away.

  • This is a great example of a staccato cloud to ground lightning strike (in this case cloud to sea). Staccato cloud-to-ground lightning is perhaps the most photogenic of all lightning. It is termed “staccato” because the lightning is comprised of just one single, rapid discharge and is typically accompanied by a myriad of interesting and intricate branching. I caught this one at 5am just off the Warrnambool coast a couple of weeks ago – very nice ! bubblesite / photography blog / portfolio Canon EOS 5DmkII. / ©T.Middleton2009 —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——

  • This is a cropped version of the original. I wanted to see more detail in the strikes! MUST VIEW LARGE!

  • A very impressive line of storms had edged it’s way across the south of the state through the very late afternoon and evening, I had my doubts whether it would make it at strength to my place so I decided to come to the party and meet it at the western end of Phillip Island with the hope that if it did persist I could ‘follow’ (but be in front – a bit of confusing term for those that don’t ‘chase’ perhaps) back towards home for more shots. This line of storms was extremely lightning active, but being a line of about 100km’s in length it made it damn hard to point the camera in the right spot at the right time ! I missed so many bolts it is ridiculous and I am definitely getting one of those new 90mb/s sandisk cards shortly as the image writing time is always something that annoys me with DSLR work. It seriously cost me dozens of potential killer shots this particular night ! The bolts were plentiful and one actually started a bushfire on the eastern side of the mornington peninsula ! This created a glow in that part of the sky adding to the atmosphere. view this image large bubblesite / photography blog / portfolio Canon 5DmkII / ©T.Middleton2009 —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——
