Wild Thing. (Enlarge the image to see the subtle “Wild Thing” printed inside the picture on top!) / Growing with courage in fabulous color and form, being the most and best it can possibly be. / Life’s a struggle and worth every second of it. / Wild Thing looks great in blacks and grays, but there are a fabulous lot of colors in the RedBubble menu. / Thanks for stopping by.
“Little Elephant” / Acrylic on canvas / 12” x 12” This little elephant was inspired by patterns on Indian embroidered fabrics. He has a sweetly curled trunk and a curious expression. I used gold acrylic paint to bring out the highlights on his red coat, and the red spirals and flowers adorning the frame. The red and blue circles represent the sun and moon, and the decorative style is inspired by Indian designs. The colours are rich, and the key tones in this piece cerulean, crimson, violet, prussian blue, deep green and gold. © 2008 Helen Lambert – Earth : Sky : Art / The artist retains rights and reproduction privileges of this image. I took this shot when I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan—and had an opportunity to fly around the island in a Cessna. I’m jealous of all the birds that have this view :)
A blue eye in the sunlight.
Here you can see the lovely deep purple blossoms on this unusual plant. Its leaves blend from a light green into cerulean blue, so this wonderful swirl of colors can be seen all together. Carefully sown in a pot in the Pacific Northwest, this native of the Mediterranean area can be grown from seed.

This isnt an artwork as such, more like a tribute to a artistic soul… I was painting today and went to dip my brush in to my cerulean blue and saw this! I had left my palette open last night. Poor little guy…a sad fate! Such is painting in Thailand!
