‘Asia Series’ card by Karin Taylor A more serious piece this time. A painting inspired by the art form of the Geisha. Her discipline and strength I admire. I have used ink, acrylic, charcoal and pastels to create Geisha Girl. The original painting is no longer available, but so glad she can come to you in the form of a greeting card. I hope you like her :D

This is a response to the completely bizarre tale of Buoy meets Swan that arose in the comments on this picture Here Barbara is still in the closet. / Buoy – died in 1966 / Swan started a hippy commune in Neesden and still lives there to this day. / The Buoy band lasted for three years until hard Bobbing took it’s toll (about £5.45) on all of them. / Bobby Williams continues to perform best forgotten jazz numbers in the Hope and Anchor, Bridlington. / Mat and Mike got it together following a Civil Ceremony in Rhyl and lived happily ever after in Splot, Cardiff. This picture is dedicated to a friend who is feeling down – thinking of you 002

LLD4 .... home is more where the heart is and time brings you back. Taken at HRH Prince Charles’ Royal visit to Saskatoon where he was greeted at our National Heritage Park, “Wanuskewin”. There were more riders but i could only shoot this scene; wasn’t allowed into the other circle which was only for political dignitaries. Much pomp, pageant and regalia…....

This is my son James the groom, Mina the bride, Kelly and Mark my oldest son, taken August 15th at the start of the ceremony which was simple but beautiful—Mina made her dress and the crinoline to go underneath as she wanted a “poofy” dress, it was really gorgeous
