  • I’ve finally gone and got the negative of this scanned in hi res, so if anyone would like to buy it – it’s big enough now! Since it was originally shot on b&w film without flash there is a lot of grain in the image, which I like, but some of you may not. I’ve got it up on my kitchen wall and people comment all the time.

  • Tony the Tiger ponders a question posed by former Kinks-frontman, Ray Davies, on his first solo album – ‘Other People’s Lives’.

  • Taken for an album cover, The Marshmallow Theory.

  • This photograph marks a key turning point in my photography! I have now realised that I was simply trying to hard. I was striving for perfection, not creativity. Vogue, not fun shot. So from now on, I think you’ll see a whole new side of me! I’m not sure where the idea came from. I was just kinda wondering what it would be like to drown in cornflakes… / I had much fun doing this & discovered a) its possible to inhale cornflakes. And kind of painful… b) Putting a whole box of cornflakes in your bed makes for uncomfortable sleeping, even when you THINK you’ve got rid of every last crumb… Self portrait under constant studio lighting. Camera handheld at a funny angle… :) Canon 450D / (Face shot:) / F-stop: 4.5 / Exposure time: 1/20sec. / ISO-speed: 800 / Focal length: 33mm Edited on PS CS3! • Ouch!....

  • Lol…A box of cereal (Cheerios) fell onto the floor and Bonnie ran right in & made herself a little home : )

  • Strand of ripening barley. / Shot with an Epson scanner. A few levels adjustments in Photoshop and dust healing!

  • In Bowl No One Can Here You Eat! / (In space no one can hear you scream!!!) / /

  • Playing around with Photoshop trying to see how I could modify the lighting and ambiance artificially, after pasting a sunset sky in a daytime photo. This probably won’t stay on here for long… Below is the original shot, with a blown sky, a rather flat lighting and dull colours. I applied a pseudo HDR process, then used several curves, levels, colour adjustment layers, pasted a new sky, added a warm filter layer, added two golden cloud layers for additional light, plus some texture of mine, and spent some time dodging and burning on a 50% gray overlay layer. Oh, and I boosted the red of the little house’s roof with a solid colour layer at low opacity, blended in overlay. Finally cropped in a square format.

  • I entered this photo in a local contest. I needed family members and one Spartan product in the image. Wish us luck… Judging will be in mid-September.
