You’ll see from the graphic that I’m generally implying the sorry fact that in the future our neurons will be so filled with war, hatred, dis-ease, fear, greed, vanity, and vapid, banal nonsense that our super skinny bodies will have one short arm to hold our brain-tumour inducing mobiles up to our rotten Apple infested heads, while our eyes bleed having never spent one second away from a flickering screen, our chest cavities will be stuffed with money since interest rates have plummeted so low that keeping cash in a bank devalues it, all the while wielding a shotgun to protect ourselves from everyone else who are all exactly like us. It looks like this in my head when I close my eyes at night.

The Trosky castle was built in the 14th century on two basalt rocks named Panna (Virgin) and Baba (Hag). The Czech word ‘Trosky’ means ‘ruins’ and describes well the castle’s conditions after all those centuries… The castle ruin became a landmark of the National Preserve ‘Cesky raj’ (Czech Paradise, or Bohemian Paradise), which was declared a UNESCO Geopark in 2005. So many times have I admired the beautiful silhouette of Trosky at dusk, travelling along it very often when we lived in Berlin, Germany, and went to visit our parents in the Czech Republic for a weekend! This is my country… Based on my photograph

Nostalgia, Flora Fountain, Mumbai, India Mumbai (Bombay, until a few years ago) is a city that has many old buildings and structures. Some of these are in a well known locality called “Flora Fountain” (recently renamed “Hutatma Chowk”). It has some very pretty old buildings (19th century British India). This picture is a coloured outline (converted from an actual photograph) of the fountain in the foreground and some of the old buildings in the background. To my mind this outline better brought out the beauty of the photograph. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.
