Taken at Norah Head, two hours north of Sydney on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Beautiful little place =) the lighthouse there is too cute.

I took this shot in Bateau Bay, which is part of Central Coast New South Wales Australia. Roughly 2 hours above Sydney. I love the glow of sunsets in wet sand and this, broken by the rocks, formed a scene I just had to capture!

It was a last minute decision to pop out before dinner and take a few shots. I had to do it as all day there were very limited photo opportunities. Boy was I glad that I popped out….a great scene greeted me….mirror like reflections and magical light…only if I didn’t deliberate for so long….. Photo Taken: 25-Aug-2007 / Time: 5:40pm / Conditions: Sunny winters day / / / / / / / / / / / / / Some other seascape art: / / / / / / /

We adopted this little fella and his brother for two days while the local pet shop was closed for the long weekend. / I was sitting on my kitchen floor and he was really interested in the camera, which made getting the photo fairly easy.

A red version of an older picture of Somersby Falls. Didn’t feel inspired to go out taking photos today so I have been mucking around with old pics in photoshop

A spur of the moment photograph. / A few friends pose underneath the street light. A silhouette is a view of an object or scene consisting of the outline and a featureless interior. The word is an eponym named after Etienne de Silhouette, a finance minister of Louis XV who in 1759 imposed such harsh economic demands upon the French people that his name became synonymous with anything done or made cheaply.

A perfect sunset over Tuggerah Lakes, NSW, Australia. / I took this at the shore-end of one of the many jettys at Long Jetty, NSW, Austalia. / One of my favorites.

For some reason I really love this image… on a day without clouds in the late afternoon I stood in the swampy shallows… my thongs got sucked into the silt and I lost them. Standing in water up to my knees to get the right angle and composition. I think it is the leading lines and the jetty that appears to extent into the horizon that I like the most.

the balcony of a friend’s house on Forresters beach, mid NSW. Big wind tortured gnarly tea trees in the foreground against the aqua water and the day we were there loads of huge tankers on the horizon waiting to get into Newcastle Harbour. They’d been out there for weeks due to some industrial problems. / I’ve deliberately kept this as simple as possible and used hues of browns i don’‘t usually use. I love the serenity and calmness of this painting. It’s big, 168×102cms. / Mixed media, collage and the tassling on chairs all stitched thru canvas. The sea glass is tied with string and glued onto the big poles, hanging on a rusted nail on each one.

I was driving past my local beaches one morning checking the surf, when I went past this one section of powerline that was smothered in pidgeons. / I had to pull over and get a shot as this is not something you see every day.
