I nice survivor of the older industrial architecture in central Melbourne, slowly being encroached upon by graffiti and new age architecture.
It was a last minute decision to pop out before dinner and take a few shots. I had to do it as all day there were very limited photo opportunities. Boy was I glad that I popped out….a great scene greeted me….mirror like reflections and magical light…only if I didn’t deliberate for so long….. I took this shot in Bateau Bay, which is part of Central Coast New South Wales Australia. Roughly 2 hours above Sydney. I love the glow of sunsets in wet sand and this, broken by the rocks, formed a scene I just had to capture!
Taken at Norah Head, two hours north of Sydney on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Beautiful little place =) the lighthouse there is too cute.
Sunset over Olgas – nov 07 The colours were stunning.

Constant down pours for more than a week have produced some amazing sights around Uluru. Usually bone dry sand and dust is transformed into a tropical garden if only for a short time. Droving Sheep at Albert © / Vicki Ferrari Albert, New South Wales, Australia. This was taken in the township itself, opposite the Rabbit Trap Hotel. Taken using negs back in approximately 1987. This would have to be one of my favourite photographs! I have scanned the 8X12 print and done some minor touching up (typical neg dust and scratch) with photoshop but apart from that, this image is as it is! Hope you like this! And thank you for looking (and reading!) Framed Print / (psj2)
The Finke river one of the worlds oldest river systems flowed once again this summer. A cloudy sky and the perfect amount of light to record both the shadows and highlights in the range made this a great day for photography. Glen Helen is a spot that I rarely get to shoot because of a limited amount of time and a desire to take part in a tonic lime and bitters at the bar. Once full rock pools are slowly drying up in the intense heat of summer. Before they do dry up these pools are teaming with both animal and plant life. Some of the more note worthy are fish up to 20cm long many species of frogs and blooming algae.
