  • This shot is taken inside a cell in a former mental asylum… the cell was tiny, the scratches and stains on the floor are still present… It is honestly the most scary place I have ever been.

  • A highly decayed corridor of cells in an abandoned mental asylum, if you look at the window on the closest door you can see it is a lot smaller than the other ones, this is due to this being a high risk / extra security cell.

  • This was taken at one of the many prison cells on the Con Dao Islands Vietnam. A very depressing day, but well worth it.

  • “atoms” / I like working with plants (& flowers) and find a way to see them as if it was the first time, again and again. Yet, getting a different vision and trying to illustrate it so others may see through my own eyes. Or at least, inspire them so they get their own vision of it. / this is one of the serie of 3 pictures from this plant. the visual representation is about the cellular life and atoms. / - / copyrighted -> MCN: CD440-8E1B2-C471F / /

  • On our Honeymoon Scott and I toured a historical site called “Sherbrooke Village” in Sherbrooke, NS. It was a very interesting little town set back in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. There was a pharmacy with old medicine bottles, a print shop with an old printing press that is still in use, a general store with walls full of anything you can imagine, a working blacksmith, and so many other interesting places! One I found most interesting was the prison. On one side of the two story house, separated with nothing but the prison bars on each cell, was the prison and the other side lived the jailer and his family. When you walked into the building you looked left and there was the family room but directly on your right was a prison cell for men. There were two prison cells for men downstairs and two for women upstairs. The families bedrooms were upstairs across the way from the women’s cells. A woman’s cell is where this shot came from. I noticed the light from the window was reflected on the floor and lined up perfectly with the pee pot in the room. I really love this shot and I hope you do too!

I still have an assignment do to for school, but I hadn’t posted origami for a really long time. I felt like posting something and only have the time to create using what I already have. Hope you enjoy and Happy Holidays! To see my entire origami collection, see here. I’d be more than glad to switch images around to suit personal preferences.
