Taken outside Museum of Modern Art, New York City. I felt this captured the essence of the frustration of people using cellphones, everywhere, all the time. This photo has won a number of awards both locally and nationally in New Zealand.

Pastel on paper from “The White Album” series, inspired by the Beatles tune of the same name. The series is also inspired by the hallmarks of adolescence, such as chatting with friends. The advent of cell phones hasn’t changed the way teens communicate all that much.

I’d just been trashed myself when I made this, so I was quite interested in contemporary variations on the dating-and-dumping game. Again, my mush and a flatbed scanner – not an orthodox camera in sight.

The accordian player of a polka band at the Sausage Festival in Elberta, AL.

One of the unexpected blessings of cell phones are that they distract people from their environment enabling candid shots of lovely expressions

In Cordoba, Spain lays the Antigua Mezquita. A place worship that has changed its colours a few times since the seventh century. A Christian church then a Muslim one, then back to Christian, and now? who knows? The Romans had a hand in the place at first, then the place was pulled down and rebuilt using parts of the original edifice. / the Catholic church has plenty of very pretty junk inside. I was in there the other day, along with my main love and my girlfriend. This photo is moving for me because it shows and everyday event that would not turn an eye. The obvious difference here need not be explained, the handbag and cellphone camera priceless. Jesus (rep) looking down and not a thing looks out of place, or does it? / A rare shot? The actual quality of the pic is average, (no time) but I shot in low light and camera in hand. So all things considered, it’s not bad.
