Cellphone

98 creative works found

  • Taken outside Museum of Modern Art, New York City. I felt this captured the essence of the frustration of people using cellphones, everywhere, all the time. This photo has won a number of awards both locally and nationally in New Zealand. Featured: “Canon DSLR Group” Canon 20D Views: 1976 / Favs: 78

  • I’d just been trashed myself when I made this, so I was quite interested in contemporary variations on the dating-and-dumping game. Again, my mush and a flatbed scanner – not an orthodox camera in sight.

  • Ancient greek nude male with a laptop and cellphone. Drawn in ancient greek style, with the words “modernos technos”.

  • This work was featured in the “In The Moment” publication! Thanks Redbubble! Pastel on Kitty Wallis sanded paper from “The White Album” series, inspired by the Beatles tune of the same name. The series is also inspired by the hallmarks of adolescence, such as chatting with friends. The advent of cell phones hasn’t changed the way teens communicate all that much.

  • The accordian player of a polka band at the Sausage Festival in Elberta, AL.

  • Young people’s paraphernalia certainly looks like a safety hazard when crossing streets or using stairs… Smoke in the eyes, music blasting in the headset, and attention focused on the cellphone, exchanging text messages. Completely oblivious to their surroundings… are they getting disconnected from the world around them? This shot was made in response to our good friend Shawn who challenged us to take a sneaky pic of a person(s) without their knowledge , adding that it should be made from a low angle. I was really sneaky for this one because the stairway was just beside the lobby of a building. I went inside and found that I had this great POV thru the side window, and no one could see me shooting to my heart’s content! The ambiant light was low though, so it’s a bit grainy. Click here to see EVERYONE’s responses to Shawn’s challenge. Here is another shot I made for the same challenge:

  • marker, liner, pencil on paper

  • A stereotyped french street scene. Looking at the cute young woman, I assume she’s probably dating her boyfriend for the night. / I like the warm colored atmosphere while dusk is falling upon the streets of Strasbourg / France. Larger resolutions available!

  • This was a long exposure that i did with a cellphone torch. I didn’t realise it would have this effect until i saw the photo and how cool it had come out.

  • This man was having a pleasant cellphone conversation, perched on a windowsill, high above the street. I must say that he looked quite handsome with his charming dark looks and olive skin. Focal length 200 mm / ISO-100 / Aperture f/8 / Shutter 1/250 sec. Shot in aperture priority / Nikon D60 / AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 80-200 mm f/2.8D ED (rented) /
