  • An acrylic on canvas. Portrait of a Medieval Girl, losely based on Mary Boleyn. 40×40 cm. (16” x 16”) I had already experimented with this image using Corel Painter, so thought it was about time I tried to paint it. Some of the stages, in case anyone is interested: /

  • here in townsend like any other place in the US of A, we celebrated the fourth of july with fireworks. / This fireworks show was actually done in a small community that is within the town, area called Big Valley. / Our town fireworks were done on friday night on the fourth, and they had their’s the next night. / I shot this using the “bulb” setting, which i have realized it’s something I need to practice on. It takes just the right timing to get all the light you can and then release the button just as the fireworks explode. there is alittle trial and error for using this method of shooting, especially when what you’re shooting is constantly changing / best if viewed larger :) Shot this in Manual Mode / using bulb setting / Focal length at 17mm / ISO of 1600 / Exposure time at 7 sec / Ev at 0 / F-stop at F11

  • Oil Pastel And Acrylic (With minor digital enhancements) Here’s Ophelia all dressed up for a party that she’s hosting! A party that celebrates all that life has to offer, both the good and not so good :D She’s wearing her new flower feather clips and a ribbon belt to adorn her waist. All who read this will be invited! A belief that Life is to be celebrated, not just the ups but the downs too. It is easier to give thanks and rejoice when things go well for us but can we still do the same when things dont turn out the way we want them to? In dry or in bountiful times, I keep reminding myself to count my blessings…to adopt the mindset of abundance and not of scacity. In fact, everyday can be a celebration of life…just take a few moments..and you will find that you are “richer” than you think you are :D You can view and buy my other “Celebration Of Life” products at my Zazzle Gallery:

  • I really do! Art-nouveau style. My dad helped me with the lipstick… I had used a yellow lipstick on her that was kinda atrocious. By the way, i only use photographs to mark the outlines of the face. Everything else (Lighting, texture, volume, colors, etc…) is done by hand with a pen tablet.

  • wow….yes celebrate with me!! / It indeed has been a joyful year since I joined RedBubble!!! / It all started accidentally when I saw some beautiful sunset / photographs on a different site by Bamagirl… (thanks Bonita!!) From there on, I posted abstract works, simple photo-manipulations, mixed media (computer art plus acrylic and pastel paints) and a handful of photographs….(wasn’t really serious selling art on line at that time…or anything like spending precious hours doin digital art which I thought nobody would even care to take notice of……HA! I was wrong….VERY WRONG!! ) The likes of Helene Ruiz, Gili Orr, Nancy Chambers, Erhan, bamagirl, Tracey Mac and Mel Brackstone had encouraged me to join groups to get noticed… I received a lot of encouraging words from Danilo Lejardi, amorspainter, realpainter, Angel Warda, Chris Willis and Kai Marie Williams to go on with my heART!! Got my big break when two wonderful angels, Linaji and Terilee really noticed my talents as an digital abstract artist and poet that landed me as one of ADAWG’s featured artists. Sorry, if I failed to mention some friends here….you all know who you are…please don’t get hurt, b-mail me and I’ll mention you…THANK YOU!! It also was and still is a great pleasure to be featured along side awesome artists like toastedghost, Randy Monteith, Cliff Vestigaard, Julie Langford, Shanina Conway, Mimi Yoon, frogster and Dale Crum Now, I’ve grown and matured digitally from making simple photo-manipulations to complicated ones as through the inspiration that RB has openly allowed me to….both as a person and an artist! • / Get the TShirt Tears from Heaven / / The Peacock Empress is a drawing created a couple of days ago, while at the surgery with my daughter, i had a vision of it which impressed strongly in my mind, and i was able to draw it once I got home. The idea was the Empress was rising up over the waters. There’s lots of symbolism in this, but it’s purely for my own benefit and the viewer may decide how the symbolism relates to them…the colour has been done in Photoshop. She has almost taken on the look of an oriental style “Luna Park” entrance at twilight, might be a nice design for those who celebrate “Chinese New Year” and/or collectors of asian inspired/related art

  • Portrait of a girl in the first home of her very own
