I thought this was an awesome photo. We have guests every 4th of July. Our entire block places barbeques out front with their chairs and we have the most wonderful time celebrating the Freedom of our Country. We also take a moment for those we’ve lost and those who are still serving. We have a very multicultural neighborhood and it’s so wonderful to share the tastes of who we all are. We live in a community called The Villages. I love it because my Great-Grandmother used to say, “it takes a village to raise your children”. We have been blessed by the diversity of the cultures and the wonderful experiences we have all shared in this community. This is a time for thankfulness for all of us. I hope you enjoy the meaning of what these colors will represent to each of my vvisitors, my family, my neighbors who are our extended family on this important day. This would make a lovely card to send anyone who has served for our country or that you are inviting to your home as a guest this 4th of July. Enjoy! Leih

On Wednesday night (27.5.2009) Tel-Aviv celebrated its annual White Night festival, honoring its status as World Heritage Site. As part of the celebrations, buildings were illuminated with special lighting like the historic City Hall building at 27 Bialik street.
