Please read her poem here and look at her other beautiful poems by searching Vanesse. With You I want to walk on a sandy beach / feeling the cool seabreeze / as it caresses my body / with the rays of the sunshine / warming me… I want to sit on a magnificent rock / at the peak of the highest mountain / underneath the tallest forest tree’s / with a cold crisp blanket of snow / covering everything around me… I want to dance / in the darkest desert night / under the light of the moon / and stars twilight; naked, / to the most beautiful / love songs written… But none of these would / fulfill me unless… / I shared them / WITH YOU!! Gracie, a wirehaired fox terrier, is full of spunk and vitality. This portrait of her just makes a body want to laugh. I thought turning it into a card would be a nice way to celebrate the gift of humor.

Oil Pastel And Acrylic (With minor digital enhancements) Here’s Ophelia all dressed up for a party that she’s hosting! A party that celebrates all that life has to offer, both the good and not so good :D She’s wearing her new flower feather clips and a ribbon belt to adorn her waist. All who read this will be invited! A belief that Life is to be celebrated, not just the ups but the downs too. It is easier to give thanks and rejoice when things go well for us but can we still do the same when things dont turn out the way we want them to? In dry or in bountiful times, I keep reminding myself to count my blessings…to adopt the mindset of abundance and not of scacity. In fact, everyday can be a celebration of life…just take a few moments..and you will find that you are “richer” than you think you are :D You can view and buy my other “Celebration Of Life” products at my Zazzle Gallery:

A girl in a bright red kimono walks proudly away displaying her beautiful colors. In Japan. It’s a tradition every Fall for seven year old Japanese girls to take pictures wearing a kimono (usually followed by a visit to a Shinto shrine). The girl in the photo is my daughter (her mother is Japanese).

I am rejoicing at the birth of my brand new little great nephew who is all of two and half hours old as I write this! His mother’s entrance into the world 39 years ago made me an aunt for the first time! The joy is still the same, indescribably wonderful! I took this photo of a blue dasher dragonfly which seemed to be expressing my sentiments, “Whee!” Joy abounds when new life comes into the world, and I’m in a celebratory mood. I really think the dragonfly looks like it’s smiling just as broadly as I am right now. It’s a good day on Planet Earth!
The feelings we have while celebrating are close to the colors in this work….....(to my opinion, it might differ from individual to individual) :-) Digital Painting based on a fractal, some postwork in PI ______ /
