Originally called Tran5pir3d for my “Eclectic Metamorphosis” stage of development. To me this piece is about: Feeling constrained by vanity. / I often feel suffocated by my own portrayal of beauty. I know how others see me and I see myself differently… I see my flaws. (often the reason for manipulating my self portraits) I realize, I should not worry about it and be myself.. but, that can be difficult. (just be yourself!) This piece was also published in…. For the challenge cafe. My view of pride is our own arrogance as a race shown here by some of the things I think have a negative affect on our lives and shows pride as the sin it really is.
