Hosier Lane in Melbourne, Australia. A result of 9 images (3 HDR’s) done in Photomatix. Merged the HDR’s in photoshop using automate > Photomerge. Took the photos quick as it was around midnight and i was afraid of being beaten up. This work has been featured in the my Neighbourhood group and has had over 1500 views. I actually took this shot while “You’re not the only one” by Ammonia was playing on my Ipod. Great song fitting image. “Cuts like pins and needles, miles and miles away. I took the shot through the Windscreen of my car. I really like the effect, it seems quite sad and intimidating.

I can tell you the past few days have been the worst choice to do some work around the Garden. So I know there’s gotta be other people out there excited about the release of the new Batman Movie The Dark Knight, or is it just me? This is a tribute to possibly one of my favourite movies! This is also one of my first really serious attempts at creating some digital artwork in Photoshop. This is the result of me having a lot of time, sitting at home sick when I should be at work. The question is can you see Batman?? For this I started off with one of my pics of Melbourne, Australia from Southbank which was a HDR from 3 exposures. I then added in bats, flood lights, batman, the moon etc. and then once again a lot of tinkering in Lightroom to finetune :) Click here for my other images of Melbourne

After many shots of this same scene before HDR I felt there was something here to be told through the story of Art and high dynamic range photography has brought it out in this shot of the Sydney skyline.

I balanced my camera on a rail to take this since I didn’t have my tripod with me. There was a really ominous feeling here and both my daughter and I were pleased to leave! But I have seen so many fabulous photos of this gaol…I just had to have one for my collection.

BnW Version of Lt Bourke PL which was submitted previously (with 30D) Mamiya RB67 + 50mm + Fuji Provia 100 / Converted to BnW in CS. And try in a square format. Will upload the square format in color at later stage. All Rights Reserved. I just got the film developed last week … hmmm, I should be careful about that light rays from the right hand side of the lens.
