  • Afternoon Sun.
    by Steve Chapple

    US$3.99–US$106.40

Late afternoon sun going down and standing on the reverse side of the Causeway to Granite Island South Australia. The light shining through under the structure from the setting sun was quite vibrant especially with the backdrop of a brooding winters sky. I know I have many images of this on my site but I just love the way it changes with every visit. Plus having my fathers ashes spread off the Causeway makes this a special place to visit. HDR merge of three images within photoshop.

  • Towards The Five Sisters
    by bidkev

    US$3.42–US$91.20

Towards The Five Sisters viewed from Morvich burial ground avross Loch Duich causeway Clachan Duich – Morvich Burial Ground Clachan (klockan) Duich (duhie) is the ancient church and burial ground of the MacRaes of Kintail. Located near the banks of Loch Duich, and a few miles south of Eilean Donan Castle, Clachan Duich has been in existence for at least 1,000 years and probably was in use three centuries earlier. Surrounding the ruins of the old church lie MacRae ancestors in graves marked and unmarked—some of them clan heroes and warriors, some of them simple folk of the Highlands. Clachan is the Scottish Gaelic word for “stones” and is used throughout Scotland to describe a village built of stones. Duich is name of the nearby Loch and is derived from the Scottish Gaelic term for St.Dubhthaich, or St. Duthac, a venerated religious figure.

  • It was a night of ferocious mosquito’s and this shot was the fastest picture I’ve ever taken. When I got home, I had welts all over my face and arms and ankles. Amazingly, the people fishing didn’t seem to be bothered… They’re made of steel.

  • Causeway
    by Anthony Hedger

    US$4.84–US$129.20

St. Michael’s Mount is in Marazion is just along from Penzance in Cornwall. When the tide is out you can walk across the causeway to get to the castle. If the tides is in and over the causeway when you want to return you can get a boat back. On here they have beautiful gardens, house and chapel. See were they discovered the remains of a gaint which once terrorised the local countryside. Climb the Mount to visit the house still home to Lord and Lady St Levern. I believe the monks in the Mount make their own wine / beer which you can buy and you can visit inside the Mount.
