These 3 tall office buildings are government offices in the Wan Chai/Causeway Bay region of Hong Kong – Revenue Tower on the left, Immigration Tower on the Right and Wanchai Tower in the middle.
Taken at the North Vero Beach causeway bridge, Florida and It was a night of ferocious mosquito’s and this shot was the fastest picture I’ve ever taken. When I got home, I had welts all over my face and arms and ankles. Amazingly, the people fishing didn’t seem to be bothered…
MacArthur Causeway Bridge lit up pink. This causeway links Downtown Miami and Miami Beach.
St. Mary’s Lighthouse, Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear, UK
Sweeping clouds and ripples in the sand all point to St. Mary’s Lighthouse at Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear, UK
The Giants Causeway in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. This was taken at the very end of the large causeway about 30 minutes before sunrise on a very rainy day indeed. Signed giclee art prints available at www.henroben.co.uk
Granite Island causeway, Victor Harbor, South Australia in the early evening.
Late evening shot of the Causeway to Granite Island, Victor Harbor.
Late evening sunset at the Causeway, Victor Harbor, South Australia. Canon 400D 18-55, HDR 3 shot worked in Photomatix.
Victor Harbour, South Australia.
Motueka Causeway
The Causeway Victor Harbor on a misty morning. A special spot with my fathers ashes having been spread here at his favorite fishing spot. Every time I visit the Causeway it is bathed in different light and weather.
Late afternoon sun going down and standing on the reverse side of the Causeway to Granite Island South Australia. The light shining through under the structure from the setting sun was quite vibrant especially with the backdrop of a brooding winters sky. I know I have many images of this on my site but I just love the way it changes with every visit. Plus having my fathers ashes spread off the Causeway makes this a special place to visit. HDR merge of three images within photoshop.
Ok…another Fingal shot. I can really say that this is one of my top 5 locations. Just love the versatility it provides. This shot has been PP using CS3 tilt shift technique. If you need explanations how that works you best ask Mel ...hehe / Let me know what you think? / Make sure you check the colour version too
Another from my series of the Causeway at Victor Harbor South Australia – heading over to Granite island. Late afternoon light and the powerful storm came in from the Bluff. Canon 400D – Panorama stitch in Photoshop CS3.
Back to my favourite spot to catch first light reflecting off of the Causeway beams. As the sun rises this side of the Causeway is often highlighted, showing the features and grain of the timbers. The Causeway joins the Victor Harbor mainland with Granite Island. As many of you know this spot is a regular of mine as many years ago we followed my fathers wishes and spread his ashes alongside this structure, his favourite fishing spot!!! Quite a bold and stormy sky in the background for this one which seems to complement the foreground highlights. Canon 400D, HDR – 2 shot merge in Photomatix.
Early morning back at my regular haunt, the Causeway across to Granite Island at Victor Harbor – South Australia. Early morning shot with light patching through from the stormy skies. HDR 3 shot merged in Photomatix. Canon 400D – 18/55 lens.

The Dark Hedges. On a street close to Gracehill Golf Course, south of Ballycastle in Antrim, Northern Ireland. These are 300 year old beach trees and are getting to the end of their natural life span so they wont be around much longer.
A portrait version of this shot These are 300 year old beach trees and getting to the end of their natural life. When touring around Northern Ireland we were lucky enough to see a couple of photos of this place and eventually managed to find a toutrist info person that knew where they were. So with the sun low in a September sky we headed out and found possibly the most stunning bit of road I have ever been on in my life! Sony Alpha A200 18mm
Standing on the southern side of Fingal Head with the lights of Kingscliff off in the distance. It was fairly dark when I took this long exposure, flattening the ocean and blurring the clouds. Lately I seem to get out with the camera on Fridays. Lucky as that’s what tomorrow is. I might head back down to Fingal
Last light across the Causeway at Victor Harbor South Australia. The Causeway links Victor Harbor with Granite Island and is often used by late evening walkers. Canon 400D, 17 – 85 lens, CIR Polariser.
