A large formation of Lava rock off the coast of Kihei on Maui, Hawaii turned into a boiling sinking cauldron by the rising tides flowing in from above and below. The water level on this cauldron would rise and fall as much as 6 feet with the ebb and flow of the waves. I was fascinated by this marvel of nature and creation.
-
The cauldron full to the brim and ready to boil over as the sun sets of the Mountains of West Maui in the Hawaiian Islands.
-
A veritable seaside cauldron of stone nearly boiling over with the rising tides at sunset near Kihei with the West Maui Mountains capped by clouds in the distance.
-
A coastal cauldron overflowing with the ssun setting on the Mountains of West Maui in the distance

Concept by Gregoryno6, everything else by me, except that bit by a certain Mr. Shakespeare. When shall we three meet again? / In thunder, lightning or in rain? / When the hurlyburly’s done / When the battle’s lost and won / That will be ere the set of the sun / Where the place? / Upon the heath / There to meet with / Macbeth

This was one of the first waterfall photo’s that I used HDR on. It was a really black and miserable day, looking at the photo’s before converting to hdr they lacked detail or any sense of the mood of the day. Once converted the mood really showed as did the power of the surge of water down the falls… this was the time I decided there was a place for hdr, done subtly it can be realistic, done over the top it becomes a work of art. “Those who actually handle the Grail, dispensing its riches, are women, the Grail maidens of lore, unwounded and pure. That women have such an easy familiarity with this cup suggests that whatever else the vessel might be, it is indeed an archetypal manifestation of the divine feminine…”

The Cauldron of Calling beckons to you, sending a wafting, a pleasant fragrance of the Otherworlds to you. Connect with the Cauldron of Calling, become acquainted with the Cauldron of Calling, know the amazing Magick which the Cauldron offers. Come, know what the Cauldron means. Become one with the Cauldron. Mother calls you, beckons you, feels and heals you. This is the first Cauldron. Come. Quickly approaching storm casts an erie feel to lighting It is a picture of the white part of Travertine Terraces as seen at Mammoth Hot Springs in the northwest corner of Yellowstone National Park. Travertine is a form of calcium carbonate that is dissolved from limestone beneath the ground. It is then carried to the surface by hot water. The colors represent a variety of bacterial algae that survive at varous water temperatures. In this case, the white is so bright, it is almost blinding. The clouds and aproaching storm create great contrast. Editing to picture: White Balance, Light Contrast, Unsharpen Mask, Noise Removal. No color, saturation, or hue adjustments. This is not a computer image or a fake, a fluke maybe, but not a fake. Thanks for looking!
