My Website Caught – Ronan Keating I feel we’re free to believe / We could live by the sea / And cast our dreams upon the icy waters / But that’s not how it is / In this world we live / We crossed the line sometime ago / Danger’s all we know / We are soldiers / Fighting for a cause that we’re not sure of / You and I are.. / Caught between the two desires / Stolen ice and passion fire / All the while the stakes get higher baby / We are caught inside a web of darkness / Never knowing where the heart is / Running when the hardest part is knowing / We are caught / So caught…. / If we could fool the clock / And go back to the spot / Will we end up just the same or maybe different? / That’s a fantasy / But it’s not for you and me / The world we know is live or die / Trying to survive / We are strangers / Travelling in endless nights of shadows / You and I are.. / Caught between the two desires / Stolen ice and passion fire / All the while the stakes get higher baby / We are caught inside a web of darkness / Never knowing where the heart is / Running when the hardest part is knowing / We are caught / We are… (we are, we are) / Woah… / We are soldiers / Fighting for a cause that we’re not sure of / You and I are.. / Caught between the two desires / Stolen ice and passion fire / All the while the stakes get higher baby / We are caught inside a web of darkness / Never knowing where the heart is / Running when the hardest part is knowing / We are caught / So caught…

My Website Caught in your Web Patient spider, / You wait for my mistakes. / You see me twist in your web, / feeling the strands pull tighter. I no longer see you, / patient spider. / You watch my struggle with calm eyes. Was I a fool / to be caught in your web? / It was designed to entice; / that it has done. I see you sway towards me, / patient spider. / You want to give your fatal kiss. Caught in mesmerising eyes, / your kiss is all I want. / My mind still struggles with wrong and right, / my patient spider. / You have me caught in your web. Brian Hinckley

Black Ink, Graphite, Coloured Pencil & Pastel on A5 110 gsm cartridge This began as a sketch on the Palm Beach ferry… on a near perfect sunny day. It follows on from Girl & The Sea, continuing to explore my love of the ocean & the peace & serenity it brings. The title, Caught A Light Breeze, comes from one of my favourite songs ever… music soothes the soul, just as much the ocean sometimes.
