  Look what arrived today!! / Catwoman by Tim Sale – my favourite comic book artist. I’ve got this stupid smile on my face because it’s something I’ve wanted for so long and now it’s here. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

  I feel like I should apologise to everyone who’s been nice enough to add me to their watchlists because I’ve been spamming your activity screen today with nothing but photos of my Batman and Catwoman action figures. I decided I had to have a calendar of them so 12 images were required, meaning a last minute flurry of activity to find another six photos I liked enough to upload so I could assemble and order my calendar while the free shipping was still available. If I had more money, I would’ve bought all the action figures in that particular range and there would’ve been some variety! But alas I am poor. I have to admit, I’m a bit frustrated by how difficult their arms were to pose. They’re not terribly flexible in the arms so that’s why Batman’s arms are always in the same position (outstretched with batarang in hand). It’s been fun though and a good learning experience with my camera. I feel I have a much better handle on how to use the shutter speed now but have decided if I want to use it more often, I really need a tripod. So many photos came out blurry because I couldn’t keep the camera steady for long enough.
