  • St John’s Anglican Cathedral is a true example of 19th century Gothic-Revival architecture, designed in 1888 by John Loughborough Pearson, and still under construction. • This photo of this beautiful old Cathederal in Bendigo, Victoria has been given a bit of HDR enhancement.. The software that I used to do the enhancement is Corel Photo Impact by 3 I don’t know about the technical stuff, but in this software there is an editing tool for HDR ( just clicked that and played around with the various slidebars etc until I was happy with the results). The photo was taken hand held not on a tripod. I took 3 or 4 of them and this was the best shot.

  • Taken at Avebury henge looking across at Salisbury Cathedral. Taken on Saturday 05-09-09. Canon Powershot SX10 IS Avebury is the site of a large henge and several stone circles surrounding the village of Avebury in the English county of Wiltshire. It is one of the finest and largest Neolithic monuments in Europe, about 5,000 years old. Although older than the megalithic stages of Stonehenge 32 kilometres (20 mi) to the south, the two monuments are broadly contemporary overall. Avebury is roughly midway between the towns of Marlborough and Calne, just off the main A4 road on the northbound A4361 towards Wroughton. The henge is a Scheduled Ancient Monument1 and a World Heritage Site.[2] Info from Wikipedia
