I don’t care how but if you get a kid next to a pond and they find a hook and a line. They will do anything they can to find a way to hook a fish. Tree limb and a few sticky leaf worms.. Boy oh boy those big catfish Grandpa is talking about … I am going to catch me one.. LOL.. Oh I love children so and want to go back to think like that..

I was loitering at a park where folks come to feed ducks (imagine that Mr. Bermingham!). This couple was feeding animal crackers to the ducks and apparently the ducks were not too interested. After the couple left, I noticed quite a bit of activity in the water, and was able to capture this huge Carp getting ready to devour an animal cracker. You can see it’s eyes just below the waterline, especially the right eye. Isn’t it ironic that a fish is eating an animal cracker? HDR Images / Prague Images / Aviation Related Images

Catfish is my cat! I found him swimming in Tampa Bay. He was only about six inches long (A kitten) when I found him, Catfish is a Manx (Tail-less Cat) I don’t know how he got in the bay were he was found, there was nobody around for miles and there is a nine foot sea wall there. I think Catfish fell from the sky! ....I think a shark got his tail too!

This was taken at a statuary today- the prettiest place I have seen in quite a while. I spent 2 hours there with my 3yo, Gage. We had the BEST time. The owner came about and sat and talked to me for quite some time. Her name was Terri. She told us about her fishes- goldfish, koi, and an albino catfish named “Norton.” It was entertaining. Turns out, Norton likes attention, and being stroked. Hope you enjoy these captures as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

This juvenile heron actually stole the rod, reel, line and catfish shown at the bottom left from a gentleman fishing from a bench nearby. I thought it was quite wonderful, the gentleman was very angry!
