Ok so everyone is probably sick of all my flood filter photos but I’m having way too much fun! This is my girlfriend’s kitten Jaguar, this shot was taken in her backyard in autumn and I thought it would make for a good subject for a flood filter. Also changed the hue and saturation of her eyes in Photoshop, other minor changes such as slight cropping done in Lightroom.
The first image in the Dreamcatcher series. These were taken early one foggy and soggy morning as the sun rose to shine through the dewdrops. Please see my Etsy listing for this image – and purchase a pearlescent metallic print of this beautiful image. Please take a look at the calendar Everyday Mysteries, which features this photograph. The two others in the Dreamcatcher series are Prose and Meteor.

Taken at Chessington Zoo on a day out with the kids! /
Taken at sunrise on a very icy morning, it was a full time job just trying to keep my filter clear. The hill is Cat Bell’s probably the most popular hiking hill in the lake district you can usually see the procession of people walking to the summit on most days, but not today at fist light!!!!. / The Island is Derwent island and has a long history, in Elizabethan times(1500) it was occupied by the German miners who lived there for there own safety I think the local land owners were none to happy about the Queen and these mining companies taking all there precious minerals. / In 1770 Joseph Pocklington purchased Derwent Island for £300, known as King Pocky he built the boat house you can see in the shape of a nonconformist chapel with bell tower, there is also a large house in the centre of the island but it obscured from view by the trees. He got his nick name for organising mock battles on the lake.
This one took a few hours! Drawn by hand with no enhancements and using Derwent graphite pencils. It measures 45×32cms

A male leopard pauses for a drink after failing to stalk a herd of Impala in the Okavango delta, Botswana. Amazingly, after he was spotted by the herd they all came rushing towards him: according to the ranger, to let the leopard know he had been seen. / Featured in The Woman Photographer, South Africa – Rainbow Nation and All Animals Great and Small. /

My Website Here Without You A hundred days have made me older / Since the last time that I saw your pretty face / A thousand lies have made me colder / And I don’t think I can look at this the same / But all the miles that separate / Disappear now when I’m dreaming of your face I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time / I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight it’s only you and me, yeah The miles just keep rollin’ / As the people leave their way to say hello / I’ve heard this life is overrated / But I hope that it gets better as we go, oh yeah yeah I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time / I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight girl it’s only you and me Everything I know and anywhere I go / It gets hard but it won’t take away my love / And when the last one falls, when it’s all said and done / It gets hard but it won’t take away my love, whoa I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight girl it’s only you and me, yeah oh yeah oh 3 Doors Down
Photo captured at the Calgary zoo. Many of you may have heard of the tiger here that recently attacked two people that broke into the zoo late at night. Well here is the guilty party involved : ) Not only were the two injured very badly but they were also criminaly charged with trespassing !! Cant blame the cat for that ! / /
