  • A mid day market in a ideal mediterrenean setting whereby architecture, landscape and people are an interesting mix between Spanish, Italian, Greek and French culture. A joyful colourful piece that highlights simple daily activities!

  • Not quite a detail of the ‘Sky and Cat’ painting, as there are differences, for sure; but, it is same basic cat and landscape, anyway. (You’ll understand more when you see ‘Sky and Cat’ , honestly) Both Sky, and Cat, are in Scotland and this was painted based on photos one or the other of them sent me that were taken around Edinburgh

  • While it was a bit on the sad side, i.e. not so well maintained, I really liked this church on the main square in Liberia, Costa Rica. It was, if memory serves me from what I read on the plaque, built in the 1970’s. That’s not normally one of my favorite periods of architecture, but there was something about this building that really appealed to me. All those slits in the bricks, by the way, are open to the inside. Not that it gets so cold in Costa Rica, but the church is in effect open air as a result.
