Our cat “Dyna” prefers to drink from a dripping faucet. We caught this series of shots and decided to put them together in a collage image illustrating the various stages of a single drink of water. Note the center image, it is hard to see on here with the size of image available, but when viewed in larger size, you can actually count the spikes on her tongue. Work done with Corel PSP-X /

One of my favorite childhood gifts was a cat’s cradle book that came with a rainbow string. I spent many happy hours with that book and string and I still have both. When I saw these lines, they reminded me of the cat’s cradle game, but you can’t touch these “strings”! Slightly cropped but unedited
