Lolly is the sweetest munchkin, I love her to death! Although I am really, really going to miss my cousin and her gorgie daughter when they move to Macau my compensation is the addition to my family of this little girl. It’s a bit tricky now having a Tolly and a Lolly! When I growl at Lolly for jumping all over the elderly Tolly, Tolly often gives me this kind of “what did I do?” look! But Lolly was named by the afore-mentioned gorgie daughter of my cousin who is 3 years old so there it is.

Our gorgeous simaese, Tolly, again. Along with his kidney problems he has quite bad arthritis which you can see here in his poor, little bent ankle. The way he positions his feet when standing remined me very much of a ballet dancer in 5th position.

Again, my baby, Mona. She is called Mona after a character in Armistead Maupin’s ‘Tales of the City’. I knew her name had to begin with M because of the way the tabby markings always result in an M shape at the forehead.

A vintage 70’s photo which I have restored and love.

Unlike my 2 other younger pusses this mature siamese gent, Tolly, just completely ignores me when I crawl around the floor sticking a camera in his face! As with our tabby, Mona, Tolly’s name comes from my favorite books, the Tales of the City series by Armistead Maupin. Tolly is short for Tolliver after the character Michael (Mouse) Tolliver.

Triptych created from some previously uploaded images This is one of my three gorgeous babies. Her name is Mona and she is a long-haired blotched tabby. I have never had a tabby cat before and I just love her markings, hence this little study.

Not much is known about the Asian Golden Cat. It is a rather elusive predator, and most of what is known about it has been found out in captivity. The Asian Golden Cat lives throughout Southeast Asia, ranging from Tibet and Nepal to Southern China, India, and Sumatra. It prefers forest habitats interspersed with rocky areas, and is found in deciduous, subtropical evergreen, and tropical rainforests. The Asian Golden Cat is occasionally found in more open terrain. It ranges from the lowlands to altitudes of up to 3000 meters in the Himalayas. The exact population of the Asian Golden Cat is unknown. It is hunted for its fur and, increasingly, for its bones in traditional Chinese medicine. However, the greatest risk posed towards the species is habitat destruction. There are few of these felines in zoos, and they do not breed well in captivity. If you would like to buy a card, print or poster just go to ‘buy/preview’
