This was such a cute and tiny kitten that we had for just a short time. She would actually sleep on my head at night and kept it warm. She just disappeared and we haven’t a clue what ever happened to her. We tried to keep her in the house always.

Amur tiger cub Zoya playing with the tree branches one afternoon. She was 2 months old in this picture. Amur tiger (Panthera tigris altaica), one of 5 remaining subspecies of tiger. The Amur tiger (formally known as Siberian) has the longest pelage (coat) of any of the other subspecies due to the cold climate that they live in. All tigers have four canines, and they only ever turn ‘man-hunter’ when they are old or sick and more than two of the canines are broken. The Amur tigers are the largest of all tigers, weighing in at as much as 700 pounds-though 400-600 is more common.
