Always good to have a little buddy on board :)
STALKING TIGER Slowly through the grass / The tiger stalked his prey / His movement long and languid / In the middle of the day / The sun was high and bright / As a vivid burning orb / His body moving slowly / Less heat there to absorb / Gazelles were moving fitfully / Around the waterhole / Nervous eyes were flitting wildly / As the world they did behold / A movement in the distance / And the animals did jump / The nerve ends all a jangling / Each one with quivering rump / Then like avenging angels / The tiger now does pounce / Gazelles are scattering wildly / With a death like spinning dance / And one of them is slower / No longer held at bay / The tiger now triumphant / As it finishes its prey Phil Sanders (aka Brummieboy) / 5/4/07 Thanks for the wonderful poem Phil!

Drawn in 2007. Age 20. Drawn with 2H, HB, 2B, 3B pencils on smooth bristol board. Sadly Morris passed away in 2007 so I drew him as I remembered him best: / as a beautiful, young and healthy kitten. Thank you kindly for looking.
Two sleeping cats BUY PRINTS, SAVE ANIMALS. / 50 % of my profits of sold prints will go directly into a our national animal shelter “garden eden” which doesn’t have enough money. The Polititions think that we need a new soccer stadium instead of a good animal shelter. Poor animals are starving and dying, but thank god, we have a new soccer stadium. / Help me to help those poor animals. Thank you very much.
Funky Cats is one i did a while ago when my focus was on the animal kingdom, this was in response to the Cheshire Cat from Alice…...he always intrigued me that fellow…...can you see his smile? These cats are from the ‘Friends Series’ by Karin Taylor…..Funky Cats is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper incorporating the use of ink, pastel, acrylics and charcoal….simultaneously :) My father has created a Chesire Cat smile in his garden which is strung in between two trees…..he also has made sculptures such as the Tin Man and many others in his garden of bits n pieces he finds at the Garbage Dump…...a man of many talents, he plants bonsai trees in white ceramic toilet bowls to display as works of art in his garden

This piece was recently part of an exhibition. My cat, Muffin found a new grey cat in the neighbourhood and is very fond of it. They now hang out together quite a bit. The original artwork looks exactly like the the photo, smooth finish. Enjoy! :) Medium: Acrylic on stretched canvas. Matt Varnished.Sides painted black. / Size: 460×460x35mm / Date: July 2008
This is his first christmas. His name is ANZAC.
Hehe, I was quite bored today, so I decided to take some photos of the cats doing silly things… ; )
Meet Sasparilla, This is what I was presented with one weekend. My cat brought him in (totally unharmed I might add) and let this little fellow run around. It was someone’s pet that I would say has been released into the bush. Such a friendly little guy. He sits in this sock beside the keyboard…just keeping company…now I really do have a mouse. Yes, he has been named, so it looks like we have another pet. This is Monty the Ragdoll. /

Constructive suggestions on honing my B&W conversion skills welcome! Sam is a legend in the Antique business, and in the Windsor area on the outskirts of Sydney. He owns the most fabulous old shed full of dusty ‘treasures’ and is always delighted to have people pop in for a chat. A recent addition to his life was this gorgeous puss … the photo was taken at Sam’s request. FEATURED on HOME PAGE 29 August 2009 My Bubblesite also shows works in categories. This is Odin….he lives at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Odin is an 8 year old White Bengal Tiger who was hand raised, his trainer is Lee Munro. Odin is 10 feet long from nose to tail and he loves to swim; he is the star of the exhibit “Odin’s Temple of the Tiger”. Odin’s mother was the first White Tiger born at the park. I was so taken by this guy, he is so handsome and has such a personality. The face he is making here is actually keeping the water from going up his nose. A century ago there were about 100,000 tigers in the wild. Now there are just 2,500 adults, with the Bengal / variety almost extinct. None has been seen in the wild since the last white tiger was shot and killed in 1958. Deviantart Daily Deviation, 2009-08-06 Winner of the Best Featured Work Challenge / 11/10/09 – 368
