Cat and dog swept in a blanket in a homeless woman’s babytrolley. I asked her for a portrait, but she wasn’t very keen on it – so she let me photograph her little friends instead
Lolly is the sweetest munchkin, I love her to death! Although I am really, really going to miss my cousin and her gorgie daughter when they move to Macau my compensation is the addition to my family of this little girl. It’s a bit tricky now having a Tolly and a Lolly! When I growl at Lolly for jumping all over the elderly Tolly, Tolly often gives me this kind of “what did I do?” look! But Lolly was named by the afore-mentioned gorgie daughter of my cousin who is 3 years old so there it is.
A playful, colourful scene of a romantic, cozy, little moon-lit trattoria with my two notorious cats.
Acrylic painting on canvas. / Since being a child, cats have been and continue to be very important to me. I’ve indulged myself here with heaps of colour and one of my favourite subjects.
My intention when I did this painting was to take an everyday situation – like looking out for the post-man and turning it into a vibrant and alive moment in time! / No matter how small and trivial things may seem – there is always something else going on: one just has to take a look at that poor fish! I lik this painting, my friends say it makes them feel like ”...putting on their dancing shoes!” / (It’s a frustrating fact, but for some reason this painting just won’t upload to the right proportions – it’s living it’s title to the full – and just NOT conforming!) Please visit my blog for more of my artwork or for inquiries on original paintings if I still have them available.
Heaps of cats, heaps of colour…I lost count when painting these…they are also around the sides…at least 70 of them!
Pastel On Board – Approximate size 65×45 cm. 12.12.2007 Dabbling with pastels again… wow, alot more challenging than paint! Oops, I just remembered, this is the finished version of ‘untitled’ which has been loitering my pages for the past two weeks. Below is the previous unfinished work which received overwhelming support – thought I would post it for those of you who wanted to compare or couldn’t remember… /

Ok so everyone is probably sick of all my flood filter photos but I’m having way too much fun! This is my girlfriend’s kitten Jaguar, this shot was taken in her backyard in autumn and I thought it would make for a good subject for a flood filter. Also changed the hue and saturation of her eyes in Photoshop, other minor changes such as slight cropping done in Lightroom.
This image is a high quality print of an original painting by Tasmanian artist Deborah Conroy.
be quite! the mouse is sleeping…

Al Fresco Cats / Acrylic on canvas / Size: 505mm x 405mm I’m combining three of the loves of my life here – cats, gardens and food. / These two cats resemble a couple of cats I had as a child, Skittle (black and white) and Victor (marmalade). My second attempt at colour pencils, this is also the first time I,ve ever drawn a leopard and omg it was difficult! Drawn on smooth paper with Derwent coloured pencil it measures 450mm x 320mm.
ACEO / miniature art of a beautiful Tabby called Neska, with amber eyes, done with coloured pencils and ink on drafting film. Neska’s eyes are actually green in colour but I wanted to add to my series of artwork featuring cat’s eyes ( Emerald Eyes, Sapphire Eyes and Turquoise Eyes). There is such diversity in the colours that cat’s eyes come in and I never tire of admiring the beauty of their eyes. Reference photo for this artwork was taken by Ainhoa Pcb http://www.flickr.com/photos/ainhoap/455734885/ and was used with her kind permission.
A Graphite and Coloured Pencil drawing of a Kitty with a Butterfly. The cat was drawn in Graphite, the eyes and butterfly in CPs, with a soft pastel background.
This is our youngest cat, Mitch, part Maine Coon and part goodness knows what :) The view you see is the close up view I see when Mitch walks up to my face when I am lying in bed :) I used Staedtler Fineliners and W.H. Smith’s own-brand coloured pencils. The picture is on A3 white card.
