This is a view of I would say the busiest intersection in Las Vegas. It is the corner of Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulivard (the strip). The 2 Hotels Casinos in the view are: New York New York ( directly in front) and the MGM Grand on the right side where the Gold Lion is. Las Vegas is an amazing place to visit.

This is 1 of the sections of the roof of The beautiful Bellagio Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. This display of silk flowers is just one of the beautiful features of this hotel. It also has a really pretty Rainforest Walk too. Also this would be the only Hotel I have ever seen that has crystal Chandeliers in the underground carpark.

Here is the the losing ship at the end of the pirate battle at Treasure Island Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. It appeared to sink just after this picture. only to ressurect and sail back to get ready for the next show. Simply amazing stuff.

One hard shot to get with the dancing waters. Took this without a tripod using again a technique taught in the workshop, I put camera on fence top to hold it steady, used the white balance tungsten setting, used a ISO 100, and my lens was the 18-55. I set the camera for rapid succession shots, I got several great shots. Taken March 29th 2008

I thought this Big green frog which looked like it was carved from moss covered wood was really cute. It was on of the features in the Rainforest Walk at the Bellagio Hotel.

This is a view of the Treasure Island Hotel Casino, which was taken from the street looking up at the tower. This casino’s theme is a mock Pirate Battle in a moat right out the front of the casino. They do this a couple of times a night (weather permitting). The show was really great.

This Hotel Casino is amazing ( like most of Las Vegas is), this photo was taken inside the hotel ( yes that is not really a beautiful blue sky outdoors), it is the roof of the hotel. This was taken looking across the inside canal.

This photo was taken inside The Venetian Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. This canalel runs from outside the hotel right through the centre of it to the back, which would probably be about 1 kilometer (not sure what that is in miles). They have Gondola Rides in there where the Gondoleer serenades you with beautiful Italian songs as you sail through. It is beautiful and very Romantic atmosphere.

I took this with the camera they gave us to take a photo for second contest. The camera is a Nikon Coolpix L3. with 5.1 megapixals, 3X the zoom. The lens says its a 6.3-19.2mm, 1:3.2-5.3. It was set on night landscape and white balance was set on incandensent, and no tripod was used, but I did set it on a fence and held it steady. The ISO is automatic set at 200 – 400. This photo was shot on March 27th, 2008
