A local casino type place let me take the camera in. The place was quite apart from a dear old lady, belting away at the jackpot machine.. I wondered if it might have been pension day!

This is a view of the well known freemont street district in Las Vegas. This photo was taken from the top end of Freemont Street looking down. It was taken just before the hourly electric light show was about to start.

Also taken at the Gulfport Casino on a Wednesday Swing night, this lady did not let a sprained wrist inhibit her enjoyment of the moment. Her skirt twirls prettily as her partner spins her. / / CARD BUYERS, take note that RB cropping cuts off the lady’s eye. I normally would deselect the card option if cropping is too severe, but even though I like the eye, the picture can live without it … at least the dress is intact. However, I quite like the black bordered laminated print version: /

The Venetian, Macau. The Venetian is a 40-story, $1.8 billion anchor for the 7 resort hotels which are under construction on the Cotai Strip in Macau. The 10,500,000-square-foot (980,000 m²) Venetian Macao is modeled on its sister casino resort – the The Venetian in Las Vegas – and is the largest single structure hotel building in Asia and the second-largest building in the world. They wouldn’t allow me to take photos in the gambling zone, but if you look closely at the first floor you’d see the number of tables available to eat your money away. I swear there’s over 300 tables down there. Correction: The casino consists of over 1000 slot machines and more than 600 gaming tables that are open around the clock. Amazing. This is a view of I would say the busiest intersection in Las Vegas. It is the corner of Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulivard (the strip). The 2 Hotels Casinos in the view are: New York New York ( directly in front) and the MGM Grand on the right side where the Gold Lion is. Las Vegas is an amazing place to visit.
