Pentax k100d, with 16-45/f4, Art144 Manfrotto tripod. / This was taken on an overcast afternoon. Down at the cascades the light was very low which was very suitable for waterfalls photography. / The aperture speed was around 1 sec. / I processed the image by using CS3 by applying a slight unsharp mask, increasing the overall contrast slightly and performing some dodging and burning in. I reduced the highlights in sections of the waterfall and increased in foliage and some deep shadows and finally increased the contrast in the foreground (water).

This wonderful creek could not be more approprately named. Sweet Creek is the primary cascade but not the only cascade along this hike. It would almost be criminal to hike this trail without a camera in hand.
