I love the slighlty futuristic appeal of this image. Although it’s just a rooftop carpark it has some amazing shapes ineracting with eachother – I played with the highlight shadows just enough to give the shapes a life of their own.
I took this Photo on top of our local shopping mall. I think the HDR really brings out the detail in all the stuff looking through the windows.
The only song I thought of when I did the HDR processing was “End of the World” by REM. It’s the end of the World as we know it and I feel fine… I took my Camera to Miranda Fair (our local shopping centre) today, because I was hoping to catch a few glimpses of the big storm brewing over Sydney. Instead I ended up with this.

This was shot in the infamous carpark were they filmed Madmax. It’s such an eerie and mysterious place. There were puddles everywhere and at first I was trying to avoid them. I then realised the beautiful reflections given off by the lights. I think the puddle adds another element to the image.
