Tonemapped with Photomatix filter in Photoshop CS4. I applied only about 65 percent of the effect with the Fade filter option, and removed almost all of it from the stack of colorful toys at the left edge. The original shot is from the ninth-floor balcony of a resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, October 2008. Available light, late afternoon on a heavily overcast day.
