This is not about anyone in particular, I have been working on his piece for a week now, the poem took me ages to come up with, hope u enjoy my envisage of KARMA I remember my daddy from when I was two / I remember his hands and big fingers too / My daddy he loved me in a cruel and special way / I will never forget how he hurt me that day / Come to daddy my special girl / I suppose I was happy and jumped in a whirl / I remember so little, this I wont forget / Even now I wonder did daddy ever regret / Taking his baby, his pride, his joy / Fingering my vagina like a toy / Ten years later still in my bed / At a child of twelve I wish you were dead / Karma has a way of catching the bad / Dad died when I was 15, I wasnt sad, just glad / My perpetrator got his just deserve / It caught up with him in just one word / Karma Carlotta Peacock August 1 2008

As we sat and watched our young one go it felt like yesterday that I held him in my arms! / Here he was all packed for college to start a brand new day. / I stood with tears as he packed his car and gave me one last hug! / As he looked me in the eyes so deep all I could feel was mother love! / I tried to hold the tears back and act like I was grown. / But deep inside I was dying as I watched my son leave home! / My son my world my everything was leaving me at last! / I thought I was ready for this day but my heart was sinking fast. / I held him in my sobbing arms and kissed him one more time. / As he said hey mom its just down the road its just 6 hours away! / I knew this was a chance for him to spread his wings and fly. / Without this mother hens watchful eye always there to guide my prize. / So now he’s out into the world with out my ever watch, and oh my God / what will I do with out him in the house? / It’s me that needs someone to care for after being there for him. / And now that I am on the very tip of being all alone. / I had wished this day would finally come and now its my worst nightmare. / And as I stand in this long cold driveway looking at my proud son. / As he sets off to start a brand new chapter in his fine young life. / I wish that all the struggles and all the ugly fights that just this once we could start all over and do them all again!
