While driving into the setting sun towards Bristol TN, I noticed this ominous looking sky in the rear view mirror. Searching for a suitable subject, I came across this Peterbilt Truck, which looked like it just returned home from a long haul. Light HDR processing applied.

I just took this picture on a hike out on Dungeness Spit. I was disappointed because the weather didn’t cooperate and it was a hazy day at best but as we were hiking up back to the car I caught this glimpse through a natural perfect porthole in the trees :) /

Yay!! it’s Drawing Day! Thought i’d submit this for the drawing day.. I’ve been working on digitising this piece, hoping to finish it by my birthday.. but it seems like i won’t be able to make it on time. So i thought i’d introduce this piece to everyone first on this wonderful Drawing Day~ =D Here’s Tim and me posing together for the first time.. hehe.. yea, i love to wear cargo pants.. hehe.. love all the pockets!! XD But yea, i think i look nothing like myself in the drawing.. i think the drawing is cuter than me.. but hey, it’s anime style, of course it’s cuter than me.. i hope.. Sunset shortly after taking off from Fayetteville Arkansas. The colors may seem oversaturated, but that’s pretty much what it really looked like. All I did was a minor level adjustment to darken the engine and clouds. I also selectively added a small amount of contrast to the clouds by themselves.

The Cargo Muchacho Mountains is located in Tumco, California, an abandoned gold mining town. It is one of the earliet gold mining areas in California. Taken with my Nikon D-80, 18-135 mm lens, CP filter.
