While driving into the setting sun towards Bristol TN, I noticed this ominous looking sky in the rear view mirror. Searching for a suitable subject, I came across this Peterbilt Truck, which looked like it just returned home from a long haul. Light HDR processing applied.

I just took this picture on a hike out on Dungeness Spit. I was disappointed because the weather didn’t cooperate and it was a hazy day at best but as we were hiking up back to the car I caught this glimpse through a natural perfect porthole in the trees :) /

Sunset shortly after taking off from Fayetteville Arkansas. The colors may seem oversaturated, but that’s pretty much what it really looked like. All I did was a minor level adjustment to darken the engine and clouds. I also selectively added a small amount of contrast to the clouds by themselves.
