Music to Digital Art: Careless Whispers Time can never mend / The careless whispers / Of a good friend / To the heart and mind / Ignorance is kind / There’s no comfort in the truth / Pain is all you’ll find
The Existential Divide / The more observational of you will remember I put this up awhile ago. And it’s back, slightly different, added text and white not black. I worked on a version with some more emphasis on text woven through it after some people I trust gave some advice. However I went back to a slightly more simplified version as I think that it really shouts on it’s own. That the crisp stark iconic impression of a barcode combined with the ever-so-recognisable, and yet never actually seen in this way, map of the world, cause more avenues of thought than one can reasonably handle without a stiff drink. / But now I’m doing that weird ranting thing about my own work which I normally try and avoid, I like it, and really that’s all that fucking matters. Where’s the whiskey?
these were good lol … they spoted my cam as soon i aimed it at them … first the girl with the stars looked … then the other .. then came a nice smile then i think some sort of witty remark :D :p then an other smile then i think they got used to the big lens beeing pointed at them  and finaly i got this kind of expression :D Careless of the world around them or what that world might think of them … i like that so they deserved a place in my gallery :D and well the expression are good ( and sssh ok ok i needed something from a whole afternoon of taking photos of people ;) / enjoy.

Hello my friend, we meet again / It’s been awhile, where should we begin? / Feels like forever / Within my heart a memory / A perfect love that you gave to me / Oh, I remember When you are with me I’m free / I’m careless, I believe / Above all the others we’ll fly / This brings tears to my eyes / My Sacrifice We’ve seen our share of ups and downs / Oh how quickly life can turn around / In an instant / It feels so good to realize / What’s in yourself and within your mind / Let’s find peace there When you are with me I’m free / I’m careless, I believe / Above all the others we’ll fly / This brings tears to my eyes / My Sacrifice I just want to say hello again / I just want to say hello again When you are with me I’m free / I’m careless, I believe / Above all the others we’ll fly / This brings tears to my eyes / Cause when you are with me I am free / I’m careless, I believe / Above all the others we’ll fly / This brings tears to my eyes / My Sacrifice, My Sacrifice I just want to say hello again / I just want to say hello again My Sacrifice. / Inspired By: Creed

On DeviantART / Featured on the Homepage 15th April 2009! Firebirds. A fierce, brief indulgence, an inspired glory of exhultation. And then freedom and rising renewed to return to other things. And is the phoenix flying over the sunset, or is it setting a trail of fire and destruction…? Passing by in endless travels, rising newborn from a burning nest, or coming in to land and rest…? How many feathers falling…? ArtRage 2.5 and graphics tablet

Weathered and haphazardly placed doorbells… one in particular is upside down. How about that for crappy workmanship! o(~_O)o
A carelessly discarded oil drum floating in the sea provides a rest stop for a tired bird. Unfortunately the bird does not realize how dangerous the object at it’s feet really is!

Tiffany knew that Mikey was playing her for a fool, stepping out with that jezebel from down the hall at number 3. She knew she should tell that lying, cheating scum that she was done with him – give him back his dime store ring and catch the first bus back to Virginia. Of course, she couldn’t. She was a slave to her heart… her careless, careless heart. Inspiration for this piece Well, I got sick and tired of working with models who turned up late (if they turned up at all), who couldn’t follow direction worth a damn, and demanded a private change room with a bowl full of M&M’s – but only red ones mind!! So I figured I would find me some models who were always available, any time of the day or night, who were never precious and cost me peanuts! Ok… so the above is a total lie ;) / I recently saw the work of this fabulous artist who cuts out images from book covers and then carefully folds them to create 3D dioramas and just knew I had to try it for myself. Now I am addicted! What a wonderful way to tell a story…. If anyone has any pulp fiction novels from the 1940’s to 1960 just collecting dust, or hidden away in a box being chewed on by rats, that you wouldn’t mind parting with PLEASE contact me.

Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain. And I love dancing in the rain, with him.
Yet did I love thee to the last / As fervently as thou, / Who didst not change through all the past, / And canst not alter now. / The love where Death has set his seal / Nor age can chill, nor rival steal, / Nor falsehood disavow: / And, what were worse, thou canst not see / Or wrong or change or fault in me….... Nikon D90 / Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 D lens 30 Favorites My daughter Abi and I were discussing photography the other day and she said I needed to stop being so traditional and try different things. So I was trying different compositions in our shoot yesterday. This was one of her favourites of the bunch. We had to agree to disagree on the colour vs. b&w. I love b&w’s and she said I needed to get away from that a bit more and do more colour…but I felt this one was stronger as a b&w. I have included the colour to get her off my back.
