Taken a week ago while in spending 4 days in Remote Tunga Zuga Village. Thank you to SharonD here on RB, we purchased Cloths, Sandals and other needed meds. Sharon send me some toys all the way from Australia and the twins were so excited. if yu look at the twins picture taken in 2007, you can see the differnce Prayer and Love can make. In Ungwa/Fada and Tunga/Zuga villages there are 54 children sick and 21 with Rickets. Each year I return to Ungwa/Fada village in remote Migeria on Mission work, I cannot help rejooicing at the greta improvement I see in many childrens lives. Yet for many who have Rickets, I have seen their condition become more Chronic. Like these precious girls, as you see in my photographs their state in 2007, now their limbs are very bowed. We clothe them, provide Multivitamins. and they are are attending our small primary school. Yet for these children it is very difficult indeed. They find it hard to sit on the ground and get up. Walking is very painful. How can we stop this disease? how can we help precious children like these? Well to answer these often asked questions, I can assure you here that we can stop it. We need funds to purcahse fertilizers, Tools and other farming tools. This way we can help the extreme poor villagers to grow better quality food. This will Eliminate Malnutrition and help their bodies obsorb Vitamin D from the Sun.This will eliminate most diseases including Rickets. Please pray for us and the children. Helpo in whatever way you can. Linda was very ill with fever just a few weeks earlier. She also has Rickets, and her limbs are bowed and twisted. Our mission team provided medicine her family could not afford and with prayer Linda is now well. God Bless you all who have prayed, donated and supported Philadelphia Mission during 2009. River Blindness effects many here in this remote region and it is my passion to bring this to an end, by using Philadelphia Mission, s small UK Charity, to raise the Finance to drill a deep clean bore well. Each time a mother gives her child a drink of water, she knows, even after boiling it, that it will make her child sick. But what can she do? If she does not give her child water, it will die.
