I must admit Impressionism has always been my favorite art movement and Van Gogh a talent unmatched. I also must admit that this piece was strongly influenced by Van Gogh’s masterful Starry Night. / / zazzle / zazzle

I took this photo of a lilly and realised, as nice as it was, it was just like the 1001 other lilly photos out there, so I decided to try something a little different… hope u like it! Enjoy! _

Gather what you will from this.. but yes, I did intend for this to look like magical sperm. Haha, it just sort of happened when I was staring at a light bulb and noticed the little spring inside… so I knew I had to do something with that. :D
An experiment with water droplets, glitter, a CD, wrapping paper and light. I had some metallic paper reflecting in the CD and the flash from my camera made it very interesting with all the glitter. This is the kind of thing I do when it’s too cold to go outside…. haha. Enjoy!
There’s something very soothing and calming about these water drop/condensation shots for me. Maybe it’s the perfect symmetry of the drops or the way they look like falling rain that’s frozen in time… either way they just make my stressfulness melt away. Anyway, this is condensation on a water bottle… I shot this using my macro lens and extension tubes as well as my flash. I don’t think I had a background on this one.. just the white screen of my computer. Enjoy!
An acrylic painting on canvas 40cm x 30cm. It was a beautiful day when we were there at tropical Long Island, Australia, which this painting is based on. The memory lingers on….. Traditionally, sound has been considered a prime universal force in the creation of matter. / Cymatics is the study of sound waves and their interaction with physical substances. Low frequencies produce a simple circle encompassed by rings, higher frequencies increase the number of concentric rings around a central circle. / Could sound frequencies from as yet undetermined source be causing the crop circles we see around the world?

Music has the power to cause emotions to well up within us. These feelings are gripping – often irresistible – and seem to emerge from nowhere. These feelings colour our moods, affect our perceptions and generate a behavioural pattern. The indisputable fact about music is its power to evoke emotions. Music has touched the human soul across all boundaries of time, space, and genre. Indeed, the healing power of music has been documented for millennia. Feature in ‘I got the music in me’ ...7/12/09
