I plant some a bit shallow, / for early blooms. Planting at different depths will insure there is a pretty patch gracing the landscape somewhere. The sunlight through the petals and leaves looked lovely against the backdrop of the snow outside. Our short days make sunshine seem all the more precious, even indoors.
