OMG the very talented RACHEL LEIGH has nominated JUST BOOTS for the Pay it Forward Group She said ” “I love this photo because I know how difficult it is to get good pet shots and the lighting is just superb in this photo. Boots is as cute as can be and she captured him beautifully!” To me this is the highest compliment, thanking you so very much Rachel :O)) Waiting patiently for his morning walk…... Boots our dearest Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, has the unfortunate name, as being black and tan he has golden lower legs. He was born during the rugby world cup when England actually won something and as his breeder was a rugby fan she called him Golden Boots, after Johny Wilkinson! Taken with my Sony F717, 800 ISO equiv. Lighting courtesy of my daughter holding a torch as there wasn’t enough natural light! Changed partially to sepia, then bluring and darker tones added for mood…..... Red Tulips..Kept the background nice and natural because i think everyone does flower shots with black or white/ plain backgrounds and this makes the image a little different

Schlegeis reservoir, or artificial lake, lies in south west Austria. The mountains in the skyline are actually in Italy. On that day we hiked some 15 kilometers to the Italian border, quenched our thirst on some Italian beer and walked back.

Just got back to lunch to find that I have sold my first framed print and it’s now my second sale to the US! Yippee, I did a victory lap around the office, only a handful of people in it at the time, and I’m really chuffed. The piece was Parisian Bike / / I’m really rapt, and really hope the nice person that bought it really can enjoy it. I’ve also got to thank those that have bought Front Row Seats, Parisian Bike and Eilean Donan as cards these are now some of my best sellers, and I thank you all. Yay!
