“Winter Walk” is also part of the Series “The Trees”, and is a reflection of Canadian winter in Ontario… Watercolour on Arches Paper…. “There is nothing here except the constant, looping clicks and caws of birds, lost in trees erased by white. / My sight condensed by each fresh, foggy breath, a hanging depth my head sinks through. / Nothing here but mulching steps, the soft snap of twigs long soaking, the sticky sound of car tire on wet road. / I am drenched by a sudden gang-up of water, a brief yawn of thunder far away. / There is nothing here and I am all wet.” ….John Goss. “Fog” / /
Heart Built on Tears These are individually placed waterdrops on a CD. The colors come from how the light is refracted on the surface. It’s really easy to arrange shapes since you can just drag the drop with any sharp object and it will stay perfectly spherical and not loose any water :) So this is a bit feminine, but boo double standards :) / These are the descriptions I give on dA —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / Location: Portland, OR / Date: August 30th, 2008 / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- Camera: Canon Digital Rebel XSi (450D) / Lens: Canon Macro Lens EF-s 60mm f/2.8 / Focal Length: 60 mm / Flash: Built-In Shutter Speed: 1/60 sec / Aperture: 2.8 / ISO: 400 / — MY PHOTOGRAPHS ARE COPYRIGHTED AND NOT FOR USE OF STOCK, CANNOT BE REDISTRIBUTE, EDITED, AND/OR COPIED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. “Listen a hundred times; ponder a thousand times; speak once.” / - TURKISH PROVERB My son Kane had no idea I was photographing him at this time…He was just wondering sweetly along a path in a local parkland area when suddenly he stopped and leaned on the fence. I honestly could not believe what I was seeing through my viewfinder when he did it. Then when I saw the photograph it just blew me away. Kane is 3 years old in this photograph. This is my all time favourite photograph I’ve taken with my DSLR to date. Played with the colour version in photoshop and am very pleased with the outcome. (black and white ) This was taken with my 300mm Canon lense. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WINNER of the LIVE LOVE DREAM Feel the Emotion Challenge WINNER OF WEEKLY CHALLENGE WINNER OF THE children the power of raw emotion challenge ○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○ /
