    US$5.70–US$152.00

Louisville, Kentucky USA 21 April 2008 10:06 PM EST This shot was NOT easy due to another photographer trying to take this same night shot using a flash. From this vantage point, the city is one mile away. He ruined 5 of my long exposures with his flash. Finally, I politely ask him to please let me get one good shot. / MCN: C30-NP3U-4430

  • / / / Christmas Rainbows Nativity is a mixed media production on brown paper / I used white acrylic gesso under, with a mix of chalk pastel, black marker and charcoal to create this little piece especially for Christmas 2008 You may notice that each character has a Heart… / Jesus’ heart is white – symbolic of his purity / Mary has a pink heart – symbolic of a mother’s gentleness and softness / Joseph’s heart is red – symbolic of father’s strength and reliability The idea of sending Rainbow Wishes for Christmas 2008 seemed appropriate in light of our global situation, the Rainbow stands for Hope or Promises made that they will be fulfilled…. I think we are all hoping for the fulfillment of the promises made to us by our governments, our leaders, our friends and family for PEACE and GOODWILL towards all men, regardless of race or creed….and not least of all God himself who spoke about rainbows being a sign of promise and hope, and also Jesus who’s birth it is we celebrate, mainly because of the hope his birth put in our hearts for true freedom from our chains (but if you are not a believer, the artwork still speaks of the promise of hope…..if not a believer in hope…then this one isn’t for you …but perhaps it will speak to someone’s heart and help spread a little hope for the future around )

American Lung Association Air Quality Report CLICK HERE American Lung Association State of the Air 2006 In 2005, EPA announced another gutting of Clean Air Act rules for polluting industries, making public policy out of an industry excuse the Agency had fought in court in 2002. Then in February 2006, the U.S. Department of Justice, the federal government’s legal arm, announced that it was moving away from enforcing the law against the dirtiest of the industrial polluters, coal-fired power plants. • Vodafone V8 Supercar 888

  • copyright 2008 Forest Friends Photography This stunning capture was taken at a Motocross Beach Race in 2006. It was my first ever Motorsport Event, and some of the pictures caught were great due to the effect & spray of the sand. I did go home with half of the beach on me that day, but thoroughly enjoyed myself.

  • copyright 2008 Forest Friends Photography Here is another sand sprayed picture of a Purbeck rider, racing around the beach. / This was a good day for photography and thousands of people lined the beach promenade to watch. It was also televised for local television & only a handful of photographers were allowed down on the beach to get close ups.

  • copyright 2008 Forest Friends Photography Another great close up of a Purbeck Rider on the beach at Weymouth.
